Photo shoot
I took lots of different photos for both my Photo shoots each with different poses or variations of the same pose with different compositions in, i eventually found the two that i was happy with and i decided the ones i was going to use by looking at a number of factors such as seeing how they would fit into the theme of my article and magazine, another one was how it would progress the story of my article and if it complimented it nicely with powerful imagery.
As you can see for one of my photoshoots i experimented with lighting quite drastically in some shots to provide certain effects and feelings to the product and to emphasize certain narrative messages that i was trying to convey (the isolation that social media can cause).
Some of my weaknesses included using the manual focus for some shots and composition grid-ding as some of my photos weren't as straight and centred as they should of been. My positing wasn't ideal either as you can see quite a large amount of the borders of the reflective white sheet, this shouldn't be noticeable however they were so if i were to use them i would of had to of cropped large amounts of the photo off. My lighting in my first photo shoot was too dark for quite a few of the first photos and this was unintentional.
My strengths however included the ideas were well thought out and conveyed the message that i was wanting to convey, i directed the models impressively and my different uses of camera placement and angles were well thought and in good use, my aperture choice and use of depth of field is visible and impressive in some of my photos.
